Lessons From 2017 Candidate Experience Research

For the 2017 Talent Board Candidate Experience report 220,000 job seekers from around the world who applied for jobs at 300+ employers were surveyed.

Kevin Grossman, President of Global CandE Programs reports the survey clearly documents satisfied candidates, even if they are not hired, will most likely remain loyal to employer companies, while dissatisfied candidates will most likely stop all types interaction with companies which did not meet their expectations in the hiring process. That means they will most likely not apply again for jobs, purchase the company’s products or services or refer anyone to either apply for a job or to be a customer/client of the company.
