How to Woo Your Candidates: Best Practices to Ensure a Positive Candidate Experience

Add in a negative interview experience a candidate had, and you are in trouble for filling that open role. Realizing the impact that candidate experience can have on your business is extremely important, which is why PointClickCare, the company I work for, has made candidate experience a key priority this year.

Our first step in enhancing candidate experience internally at PointClickCare was setting up a brainstorming session for the team. We mapped out what the candidate journey looks like from the application stage, through to first day of employment, noting down each candidate touchpoint. This exercise helped us figure out what our current state looked like, and where we needed to make improvements.
