Talent Board is the first non-profit organization in the industry to give large numbers of companies access to aggregated candidate experience datasets in the form of an annual benchmark program. Media are encouraged to reference the most recent Candidate Experience Benchmark program research from Talent Board. Please attribute the research to Talent Board and include the year and region covered by the research (for example, 2016 North American Candidate Experience Report). Web links must direct to the primary registration link for the most current and past reports – http://www.thetalentboard.org/cande-awards/cande-results/.
Research may not be used for any commercial purposes and is covered under copyright best practices.
Content available through Talent Board’s research and related publications is the property of Talent Board and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Therefore, Talent Board materials cannot be reproduced, retransmitted, distributed, disseminated, sold, published, broadcasted or circulated without the proper citation as detailed above.
Fair use is a doctrine in U.S. copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without permission from the rights holders. It provides for the legal, non-licensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author’s work under a four-factor balancing test:
- The purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes;
- The nature of the copyrighted work;
- The amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and
- The effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.
In practice, this means that short excerpts of longer pieces of content may be quoted without obtaining permission if they are properly cited to the original source.
Talent Board does not endorse products or services so we prefer that our content and publications only be quoted in other academic and “thought leadership” content and not used out of context in marketing or sales materials.
