Talent Board is a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience. The organization, Candidate Experience Awards program, its sponsors and donors are dedicated to recognizing the candidate experience offered by companies throughout the entire recruitment cycle and to forever changing the manner in which job candidates are treated.

For six years Talent Board has surveyed hundreds of companies and hundreds of thousands of job seekers worldwide. Our research helps employers measure the potential business impact of candidate experience and demonstrates conclusively that on average 41% of thousands of candidates globally who believe they have had a “negative” overall experience say they will completely sever their relationship with the employer. These aren’t just the job finalists either, but the majority of individuals who research and apply for jobs and who aren’t hired, and this negative sentiment can result in lost revenue and referral networks.

Our research and resources also give job seekers a voice and a sense of fairness in a usually perceived unfair hiring process. This is why we’re expanding our resources to help further the job prospecting opportunities for all job seekers. This means delivering complimentary research and related job seeker resources that help candidates from all ages and backgrounds improve their job search and overall candidate experience.

Talent Board is supported solely by the generous donations of industry solution and service providers, individual donations and corporate donations. This allows us to keep our research complimentary and to provide the talent acquisition discipline with benchmarks and best practices that empower continuous recruiting innovation and a better overall candidate experience – all of which has the potential to impact the business bottom line. Employers do not pay to participate in the Talent Board Candidate Experience Benchmark Research Program, nor do they pay for any of the data they receive. Research is open to all, which is why we ask for donations to support the overall program.
