Announcing the Winners of the 2014 U.K. Candidate Experience Awards

Third Annual Awards Programme Recognises Organisations that Deliver an Outstanding Candidate Experience

LONDON (27 February 2015) – The Candidate Experience Awards, a non-profit organisation focused on facilitating the evolution of the employment candidate experience, today announced the winners of the 2014 U.K. Candidate Experience Awards (known as “the CandE Awards”). This year, 18 companies were honoured and celebrated as winners at the Third Annual U.K. Candidate Experience Awards Gala for providing job candidates with positive recruiting, hiring and screening practices.

Following an extensive review process, the CandE Awards recognise all companies that meet a standard of candidate experience excellence in 2014. Organisations that met criteria for a positive candidate experience in the employer and candidate survey round of the evaluation process were awarded a “CandE Award Winner” designation stamp

In addition to being recognized as winners of the 2014 CandE Awards, four organisations were designated as “With Distinction” winners. These organisations were identified for implementing innovative or standout practices throughout the recruiting cycle as judged by a volunteer panel of industry leaders. All honourees were celebrated at a special ceremony held at The King’s Fund in London on Thursday, 26 February, 2015.

“As employers compete to attract and engage today’s top talent, the importance of the candidate experience continues to grow, and employers recognise this,” remarked Elaine Orler, Talent Board Chairman, founding organisation of The Candidate Experience Awards. “Now in its third year, the U.K. programme has more than doubled since its inception, with more than 40 companies and 4,000 job candidates participating in the 2014 survey. We are delighted to honour those organisations that remain committed to improving their recruiting practices.”
