Lance is the Head of Assessment and Talent Acquisition Solutions for SHL North America. A consultant at heart, Lance applies his experience and expertise gained from over 17 years in consulting and consulting leadership to provide strategic guidance to SHL’s customers. Lance creates greater value for our customers through connecting the science of talent assessment to the unique needs of our customers’ complex needs.
Alyx Sparrow is an Assessment Specialist Senior at the City and County of Denver and has been with the organization since 2014. She is responsible for leading the team that selects, validates, and revises pre-employment assessments for the City and County Denver’s over 900 job classifications. Assessments types with which Alyx has worked include online assessment, written exams, performance tests, assessment centers, and specialty skills tests. In her role, Alyx also partners with city’s recruiting team to identify ways to streamline the selection process and identify top candidates efficiently and effectively. Prior to joining the City and County of Denver, she worked as a Human Resources Consultant at Southern California Edison. She received her M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino.
