As recruiters, we have all gone through the situation where we have presented a quality candidate to a hiring manager only to have them rejected with little to no reason. What did we do wrong? Is it the candidate? Doesn’t the hiring manager understand how great this candidate is? As their recruiter, how you present candidates can make the difference in whether or not that candidate makes it to the next stage in the hiring process.
Once your slate of qualified candidates has been accepted by the hiring manager, now is a great time to solidify the interviewing structure. Consultation with managers on the interview process is key to not only hiring the best candidate but also providing an exceptional candidate experience.
