That is why we chose to personalize our requests to candidates when asking them to participate in the survey, which helped us garner such a large response,” said Chris Hoyt, global talent engagement and marketing leader with PepsiCo.

“We are proud to announce the winners of the 2012 CandEs and recognize the companies that have raised the bar in terms of the candidate experience they provide. The recruiting practices the winners utilize add value to the entire recruitment discipline and demonstrate what a positive candidate experience should be,” commented Joseph P. Murphy, a judge for the 2012 awards.

“In conducting the CandEs, employers better understand how their recruiting, screening and onboarding practices impact their employment brand and their ability to attract top talent. The organizations that have received the CandE Award demonstrate a focus and passion for a candidate experience that leaves applicants with a positive impression of the company, whether they get the job or not,” commented Elaine Orler, Talent Board chairman and president of Talent Function Group.

She continued, “The Candidate Experience Awards recognized all companies that met the standard for candidate experience excellence in 2012. We had 24 winners in 2011, and this year, we are proud to recognize 37 companies for their passion and focused efforts on a positive candidate experience. As we continue to survey organizations in the future, we expect to see even more winners next year.”

The findings from the 2012 CandEs study will be released later this year. Companies interested in the 2013 Candidate Experience Awards can learn more at: www.thecandidateexperienceawards.org.
