According to the 2015 Talent Board candidate experience data, job seekers share their stories everywhere, the good and bad:

  • 80% will share positive recruiting experiences with their inner circle
  • 66% will share negative ones with their inner circle
  • On social media, 53% will share positive stories publicly
  • And 33% will share their negative stories via social media

This is why it pays dividends to have a positive candidate experience versus a negative one. In today’s digital age, where people share experiences online, a poor candidate experience can be bad for business and translate to millions in lost revenue annually.

How do we know this? The Candidate Experience Awards (CandEs) have been surveying employers and candidates for the past five years. In 2015 alone, 130K candidates from over 200 companies responded to our CandE survey, providing us the critical insight into the impact of the candidate experience and the business of recruiting. HR and talent acquisition teams today need this competitive insight and the skills to employ them to attract, engage and hire the right talent to grow their businesses.
