First CandE Learning Program Scholarships Announced
Talent Board and the Candidate Experience Awards is proud to announce its first two certificate of learning program scholarships will be awarded to Christina Scott and David Barlaam for the May 3 class!
“I was thrilled to hear about the CandE Certificate program from TalentBoard. The candidate experience is near and dear to my heart, so when I found this course I jumped at the chance to learn more. I love that you back up the anecdotal experiences that everyone in recruiting has seen with data, and case studies, and actual research, as well as going over the best way to get buy-in for CandE initiatives. When I heard that I qualified for a scholarship, it was just meant to be! Nobody else is teaching the candidate experience in quite this way and it’s an honor to be considered, let alone awarded. I can’t wait to get started!” –Christina Scott, Devoted Candidate Experience Advocate
“I’m so excited to be joining the premier Candidate Experience Certificate of Learning Program, issued by the go-to name in Candidate Experience, The Talent Board. As I am currently in transition, I’m especially grateful to be the recipient of the Certificate of Learning Scholarship. Knowing how to improve the Candidate Experience is crucial to every employer, so adding such an impactful curriculum to my portfolio of knowledge in this area on an ongoing basis will certainly be a great springboard into the next phase of my career! Again, Thank you, Kevin, Ron, Adela, & The Talent Board Team.” –David Barlaam, Global Talent Acquisition Leader
This certificate of learning program was developed by Talent Board and HR.com and is based on 10 years of Talent Board candidate experience benchmark research and best practices.
The 6-week certificate program is designed to help companies gain a competitive edge in recruiting, secure top talent, and improve their employer brand through improving candidate experience from pre-application to onboarding. Access weekly self paced modules and attend weekly live facilitated sessions.
Talent Board’s professional development scholarships are for Talent Acquisition professionals currently displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic, who are unemployed and looking for work.
The professional development scholarships will be awarded to one or more individuals to participate in each of the upcoming scheduled courses in 2021. The scholarship will provide monetary support ($1,500 maximum) to participate in the CandE Learning Program.
Applications for the July 12 certificate of learning program class scholarships must be received by June 4 and will be reviewed by the Talent Board team. The award recipient will receive a $1,500 credit to be applied to the Cande Learning Program registration fee. The selected recipient will be notified 2-3 weeks before the cohort starts and is non-transferable to another course date.
In order to fund more than one seat per class, we’ve also launched a CandE Scholarship Fund that companies and individuals alike can donate to. Scholarship donations can be made here and 100% of the donations will help pay for future course seats.
Recruiting and hiring is critical to the success of any organization, and yet, it takes the biggest hit when downturns strike. Help us help those who have lost their jobs get some recruiting and hiring professional development, and hopefully onto their next job.
Thank you for your support!
